Climbing and Canyoning Climbing and canyoning, two very different sports one goes up and the other goes down. Main point in common is they both use ropes. Anyway, they are both available in New Zealand. New Zealand is full of gorges, rivers, caves and cliffs, (font forget the mighty Waitomo and the Waikato area) all which provide a natural playground fr the adrenaline junky determined to jump of something, squeeze through an impassibly small area or conqueror a cliff.
